New Deal funded

Moses is investing in real estate. He wants to complete constructing his rental apartments from which he will improve his income.

Ambitious project - Uganda needs more of these kind of entrepreneurs.

Invested 50 euro at an interest rate at 19.75
A high rate, but it is a risky project.

New deal funded

Chris Kaija runs a real estate business developing rental properties and is now developing a lodge.

This seems a bit riskier, but my guess is that Mr. Kaija has the drive to make this project a succes. Mr. Kaija is thinking big - I would like to support that kind of thinking.

30 Euros invested at 16.75%

New Deal funded

Teresia Kamiru wants to grow her real estate business that she took over 10 years ago when her husband died. This seems like a rocksolid investment.

30 Euros invested at 13.75%

My first MYC4-deal

I have invested 30 euros at 13.75% in Betty Nakyanja

Betty is a University Teacher and she also runs a poultry farm. My main focus is investing in real estate, but Mrs. Nakyanja seems to be serious person. Good luck upgrading your poultry structure.

I ran out of money ;o)

June offered a lot of interesting opportunities.

Teresia Kamiru gets 20 more

since I got my 20 euros back from the Baker-deal I made a bid on Teresia Kamirus real estate project. I have allready made a bid on this project 30 euros at an interest rate at 15.75

My new bid is 20 euros and a whopping 19.75 % rate.

This bid is probably getting pushed out but a couple of investors has made a big chunk of 20% bids - they are going to get pushed out before my bid. Maybe I am lucky and my bid will make it to the end.

Interest rates are going down

At this very moment all the "final calls" (opportunities very close to end bidding period) are below 10% in average interest rate. Good news for the lenders - not so good news for the borrowers hence 9% of the loans default.

It looks like political correctness rules the myc4 platform. The "good guys" gets the good interests and the "bad guys" especially real estate investors are met by higher rates.

I really dont care - by providing the funds for the "bad guys" i am a part of funding their childrens schooling and improving the familys livingstandard.

And since I will reinvest the "bad guys" repayments helps other familys etc. etc.

Mr. Baker backs out!

Mr. Bakers plantation project did get adequate bidders and the requested interest rate at 15% was achieved. Well more than achieved - the average interest rate was 13.68.

My bid was 20 euro at 14.75.

when the bidding period was over and the loan was pending Mr. Baker posted a message that he urged the investors who had made bids between 14 and 15% to lower their bids!?

The bidding period was over - so technically it was impossible.

The end of it all is that the opportunity is cancelled and maybe they will make a reentry.

This time it will be without me - I dont approve strange behaviour.

New opportunity - Simon Ndawula

Simon owns a farm where he rears cows and pigs. He wants to purchase
a lorry so that he can reduce the costs he incurs in the transportation of
animals, feeds and agricultural produce. This will enable him to carry out
his business more efficiently.

Read more about Simons project

My bid is 20 Euro at an interest rate at 19.75 - if you look at the bidding
list
right now there is a gentleman who has made a 960 euro bid at 20%

My theory is by placing my bid just below that big chunk of money I should in
a good position avoiding to get pushed out of the auction.

I hope Simon will get his lorry and I hope I will be a part of that project.

In the future I will only describe one opportunity per post - seems more easier to do follow ups that way.

2 potential investment opportunities

30 Euro - Tereisia Kamiru (real estate) - interest rate 15.75

20 Euro - Mwima abu Baker (forestry) - interest rate 15.75

Fingers crossed that my bids will be ok

3 potential investments

I have allready invested 100 euro - now im excited to see if im getting pushed out of the auction.

The 100 euro are invested as follows:

30 Euro - Betty Nakyanja (poultry) - interest rate 13.75 %

20 Euro - Siraje Semwanga (real estate) - interest rate 23.75 %

50 Euro - Annet Nanyondo (real estate) - interest rate 15.00 %

150 euro transferred to my MyC4 account

I found out that you can pay with your Visa-card!

I didn't want to spend time open a paypal account and a bank transfer seemed so oldfashioned.
But if you type in the amount to insert on your MyC4 account and push the button you can actually choose to pay with Visa or Paypal.

Unfortunately they charge 3% in handling fee - so next time i will make a banktransfer.
